Job Description & Requirements:

• Customer Service including helping customers who visit Ceramic Dreams and answering phones.
• Retail Sales including running cash register and credit card machine.
• Clean-up in studio, gift shop and restroom.
• Washing brushes, dishes and tools used by customers.
• Unpacking inventory and stocking shelves.
• Opening and Closing Studio and Gift Gallery

This individual is not required to glaze pottery, load kilns, or operate kilns. This person may occasionally un-load kilns after proper training. Familiarity with painting pottery is preferred; however, willingness to learn is acceptable.

This individual will be trained to open and close the business. Upon completion of training, this person will operate the studio and gift shop without in-person supervision; therefore, applicants must by 18 years or older.

We take pride in focusing our business around guests who visit Ceramic Dreams. The gift shop gives shoppers hand-made, unique gifts while supporting local artists. We also enjoy supporting our Community by volunteering & donating to functions in Indianapolis. In order to do all of these things AND expand our hours, we are hiring 1-3 individuals for customer service and retail sales.
